The University of Zakho Participated in Gender Basic Violence Course in Duhok

On the occasion of the International Day of Violence against Women, on Sunday, the 27th of November, 2016, at Zyan Hotel/ Duhok, Mrs. Jihan Hussien, Lecturer from the department of Psychology at the University of Zakho, was invited to participated in a course on gender basic violence GBV organized by International Medical Corps IMC.

This course mainly addressed the following topics:

-What is violence and what is gender basic violence.

-Types of violence (Psychological- Physical- sexual).

-The causes of violence.

-The side effects.

-The suggested solutions for this problem.
